Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers announced the completion of a series of Lloyd's consortium stamps that will attach to its global syndicated P&C delegated underwriting portfolio. Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers announced the appointment of Jeff Smith to CEO of newly created Ryan Specialty Renewables. Clach Casualty Underwriting Managers announced that it has launched a new admitted General Liability Real Estate Program designed specifically for habitational properties within New York’s Free Trade Zone. Built for appointed wholesale brokers in one of the most challenging regulatory and legal environments in the country, this new program offers general liability solutions for apartment buildings, condominiums, co-ops and property management companies. Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers announced the appointment of Kristin Daur as President of Ryan Specialty Renewables – Head of North America. In her new role, Kristin will lead the North American operations of Ryan Specialty Renewables, responsible for the strategic direction, underwriting performance, operational execution and continued growth of the North American business. RT Specialty ProExec's David Derigiotis for his Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) hosted a webinar titled "Cyber Insurance in 2026: What Every Insurance Professional Needs to Know" which discussed the importance of cyber insurance from a personal lines standpoint, key coverages and how individuals can become compromised. The webinar took viewers through the dark web, emerging risks surrounding AI and social engineering tactics.
RT Specialty announced that Gregory Provenzo has been promoted to Director, London Markets & Delegated Authority, joining the RT Binding Authority leadership team. Greg brings more than 20 years of experience in London market underwriting and broking to the role, along with a deep understanding of Lloyd’s of London Syndicates and delegated authority business. Jade Barter, Ben Bugeja, Sam Dare, Anthony Gunn, Kirsty Miller (née Aird), Khurun Patel, FIA, Rebecca Ronayne and Louis Winter attended the Marsh McLennan Rising Professionals’ two-day Global Forum & Gala Evening in London. It was a fantastic opportunity for our rising professionals to hear an impressive line-up of speakers from across the risk and insurance community share valuable insights into some of the biggest challenges shaping our world.
Ryan Specialty was delighted to host the iCAN: The Insurance Cultural Awareness Network event, "Beyond the Internship: Building Connections That Last," at our London office. Bringing together interns and early-career professionals, the evening was designed to help attendees build meaningful connections and gain valuable career insights.
The event began with networking, followed by a "Building Your Career" panel featuring Ryan Specialty's Ian Dye, along with Sophinne Aikins-Sancho, Jessica Ratnayake and Catherine Hill. Attendees then engaged in sessions on "Setting Up for Success" and "How to Network" led by Louise Pergande.
A huge thank you to all for making the event such a success. We hope everyone left with new connections, fresh perspectives and a greater understanding of the exciting opportunities available within insurance and beyond!

After another week of the Ryan Specialty Risk Management & Insurance Internship program, University of California, Berkeley's Sienna Lee has shared her reflections on her experience so far:
