Ryan Specialty announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Stewart Specialty Risk Underwriting Ltd., a managing general underwriter based in Toronto, Canada specializing in underwriting large-account, high-hazard property and casualty solutions. Ryan Specialty is pleased to announce that Trident Marine Managers has entered into an expanded underwriting agreement with Aspen Insurance Group. Under this new arrangement, Trident will serve as the exclusive underwriter for Aspen’s Marine Hull, Primary and Excess Marine Liability business and Matthew Taucher will join Trident as Director of Hull and Marine Liabilities.
